🌱 Growing Tips
Easy to grow from seed or division. Plant in spring in full sun to partial shade. Drought-tolerant once established. Divide clumps every 2–3 years to keep vigorous.
🌾 Drying & Preserving
Chives lose much of their flavor when dried. Prefer freezing — chop and freeze in ice cube trays with water. If drying, spread thinly on screens and use a dehydrator at 95°F.
📦 Storage
Frozen chives keep up to 6 months. Dried chives keep in an airtight jar for up to 1 year but have diminished flavor.
